Bachman Lake Families Received ‘A Successful Start’ at 2023 Annual Back to School Fair

For many, this time of year is a season of transition and preparation as many families and children prepare to begin a new school year. At Bachman Lake Together, we celebrated and welcomed families sending their children to school by hosting our annual Back to School Fair, A Successful Start. 

On Saturday, July 29, we welcomed hundreds of Bachman Lake parents and children to provide social, emotional and physical support to thrive in this upcoming school year and beyond. 

At Bachman Lake Together, we understand the unique challenges that come with sending your child to school for the first time. Whether it is getting the right supplies for your child, or knowing how you can support your children during this transition, our goal for our Back-to-School Fair is to serve as a holistic resource to meet the needs of our families. At our Family Center, Bachman Lake families received FREE school supplies, backpacks and community resources, all while also participating in educational sessions and social emotional activities to promote learning and emotional support at home and outside of the classroom. 

We want to thank everyone who made this event possible. Together, WE gave Bachman Lake families A Successful Start! Thank you to our 27 community partners and 39 volunteers who helped us make a greater impact.
