Our Mission

Our Mission

We partner with the community to cultivate a thriving Bachman Lake neighborhood where children flourish and opportunity is shared across generations.

Our Vision

Bachman Lake is a neighborhood where children, families and opportunities prosper.

How It Works

Families are at the center of everything we do. Their experiences, priorities and ideas help shape our work and guide decisions about the future of the neighborhood.

As a backbone organization for Bachman Lake, we help align 50+ partners, coordinate resources, strengthen relationships and measure progress toward shared goals.

Who We Are

Bachman Lake Together is a nonprofit, collective-impact initiative that connects families, community partners and supporters in a shared purpose: giving every child in our neighborhood the opportunity to thrive by supporting four critical foundations:

  • Early Childhood (Birth–2nd Grade)

  • Upper Elementary (3rd–6th Grade)

  • Parent Leadership & Advocacy

  • Family Well-being

Since 2014, our partnership has strengthened our northwest Dallas neighborhood by uniting the greater community around the promise and voices of Bachman Lake’s families.

The Bachman Lake Together Family Center

Located in the heart of the Bachman Lake neighborhood, the Family Center serves as a hub for connection, learning and belonging. Families gather here to access resources, participate in programs, build relationships and strengthen their leadership. Community partners use the space to collaborate, share services and support neighborhood priorities.

More than a building, the Family Center is a place where community comes together.
